well, i just installed apache for windows on my pc. installation went ok. when i was finished i wanted to test if it worked. so i typed in my browser, but received an error. this error:

Your Browser sent a malformed request. You may need to configure your browser to use proxies, or you may need to change the port that your webserver is using.

what went wrong, and what can i do to make apache work?

thanks in advance!

Hi stevy99,
Is that 120 in the IP a typo? I think it should be 127. You should also be able to use localhost or your IP if you have httpd.conf configured to Listen to it. It should also be set to listen to port 80 by default but it wouldn't hurt to check. If you make changes to httpd.conf, don't forget to restart your server so it will read in the new configs. "Now go do the right thing.")
