hey guys, after i compiled apache, i got this error in the browser

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and when i try to start httpd i get this error

(98)Address al;ready in use: make_sock:could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets availiable. shutting down

what do i have to change in the httpd.conf in order to get this to work?
i posted my IP for listening.
thanks.

Hi,

From the 'bind' error, sounds like something else is using port 80 on that box or you didn't start apache as root (assuming linux / unix).

What platform is that ?

Regards

Maybe you do not give the file the chmos read right for all user's.
You can do this in linux mc or you make this whith you FTP-Program.
Greetings Henning
