apache problem in wamp server used in localhost

Hi,
My laptog has Xp professional. I planned to check my website first in localhost using wampserver. But I have a problem in using wampserver in localhost. I create a from and php file which I then connect it to my mysql after making a table. But I got this error response.
"Apache HTTP Server has ecountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Either that or forum779. By the way, I'd look in event viewer see if there's anything more descriptive about why Apache is needing to close.
