we have a linux server w/ apache and have 4 virtual hosts on it.. there is one of these hosts called intranet.. and whenever anyone on the lan tries to load a page from intranet and they're using windows xp sp2 with windows firewall turned on, the page takes at least 1 whole minute to load, even if the page is just like 2 kb.. but when i turn off windows firewall, it loads perfectly fine.. this only happens w/ this particular virtual host, the other hosts on the same server don't have this problem.

any ideas on what i should check?

thanks

Peculiar...I wonder if this might be a DNS resolution problem. Are you running any internal DNS services? It will be interesting to see what others say. In the meantime, does adding the problem site (by both name & IP address) to IE's trusted sites list have any effect?
