Apache not serving most file types

I've been using Apache 2.x now for several months, and all of a sudden this morning (or maybe last night) it's not serving any files except .php, as near as I can tell (though phpBB displays a couple images at random). Therefore, internal image links don't work, my CSS is dead, and my personal files are inaccessible - including .txt files.

Hardly anyone ever goes to my website, so this isn't horrifically critical. But I'd like to know what in the world happened, and I'm hoping maybe someone here has a clue what might cause it.

It may help to mention that Friday night I set up PEAR for PHP and was trying to get the FileZilla FTP server working. I know everything worked Friday night (and I'm pretty sure I checked last night), and my httpd.conf shows a last-modified date of Wednesday (12-8-04).

The site is iv.gotdns.org in case that also helps. I don't mind putting up copies of my httpd.conf or php.ini files or anything else that might help.

In setting up filezilla did you add anything to change document handling? It looks like something is trying to parse your jpgs as if they were code.

No, nothing.

Yet another oddity: at work, I pulled up iv.gotdns.org and the pages displayed just fine, with CSS and images intact. Hoping it was all just a fluke, I checked www.iv.gotdns.org and 0x.ath.cx (I have a couple dyndns forwarding domains). Both pulled up the screwed-up page with no CSS or images. Back to iv.gotdns.org, and it pulls up fine.

Ok... Now I get home, and iv.gotdns.org also pulls up screwy (as, I just confirmed, do localhost, bb-q (the servername), and all forwarding domain).

Now, yet *another* oddity: through external domains, all image links on my phpBB are dead - just like everything else. However, if I go in through a local address (localhost, bb-q, and LAN IP address), I can run the mouse quickly over any mouseover'd images and get them all working after a few seconds.

I'm pretty lost here. Any suggestions at all? Maybe I'll try uninstalling FileZilla server, but this is just so erratic....
