apache log problem

I have an apache server setup for virtual (name-based) hosting. I have the
ErrorLog and TransferLog directives in each of the <VirtualHost> sections.
Apache is creating the log files, but it is not using them. everything is
still ending up in the main server log files. Does anyone know why apache
would be doing this??

Hi,

You need a CustomLog for each virtual host. Something like :

CustomLog /usr/local/apache/logs/vhost1/vhost1_log
