I am trying to run a web log analyzer called Accrue that comes with Apache 1.3.26. The Accrue app runs via the JVM and all the Apache config files come preconfigured to run the app. When I stop and start the app using the start up scripts the httpd processes start but the JVM does not. However when I reboot the system the JVM starts fine using the same startup scripts. I obviously want to be able to restart the app without rebooting. The only relevant log file I have found is mod_jserv.log and below is the difference I see. The main thing is that when it works I see Apache-JServ 1rst and then Apache-JServ 2nd. When it doesn't work I see Apache-JServ 1rst twice. I know I should be asking the app vendor but that hasn't worked for me so far.
