Apache here today - gone tomorrow - win95 apache 1.3

I had apache running and smiling on win95
I then deleted netscapes brower
Then haven't since been able to access the

http://localhost

or 127.0.0.1
no response at all
Apache runs fine but no browser - server communication

PS anyone tryed the jservlet and xml parsers on there win95 yet?
