Apache ftp setup

I am trying to move an website of mine from a NT workstation with IIS 4 to linux redhat 7.1 with apache. I tried using ftp, but when i log on the the ftp it says that that connect fails. I don't know why. I think that maybe the ftp isn't set up on the apachen system. How would I set it up if that is the causee

Apache is not a FTP server, just a webserver. You need to set up a FTP server like WU-FTP in order to FTP. Mike Wills
