Apache 2.2 running on Ubuntu 6.06 8.04 and 10.04 and the current Fedora will not display a flash file (I'm sure getting good doing Linux install though :( )
I find lots of ideas on the web, none work or seem relevant to the file structures in these installs.

mime.types had " AddType application/x-shockwave-flash swf" for example in Ubuntu
If Fedora I see " mod_mime.so enabled" in httpd.conf

Rest of the site comes up fine. Not a browser issue as the site displays fine off a commercial web server

What error messages are you getting when you call the flash files? Anything interesting in your logs?

Here's the error log.
The file of note is fdark.swf

It's mot to be seen in the error log but does turn up in the acess log as in:

"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008111217 Fedora/3.0.4-1.fc10 Firefox/3.0.4"
127.0.0.1 - - [04/Aug/2010:17:48:31 -0400] "GET /_borders/fdark.swf HTTP/1.1" 404 291 "

In looking at your logs it appears as if the file doesn't exist or doesn't have the proper permission (user / filesystem) for access.as the web log reports a "404". I would double check the file location against user permission to ensure the webserver has access to read / serve the file.
