apache error

hi there!

i am trying to run apache2. i have followed the installation instruction at the apache website(apache.org)but whe n i try to run "./httpd" located at "/usr/local/apache2/bin/" this is the error:

"./httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file directory"

p.s. this is my very first linux and suse 9.0 is my very first flavor

the library file is located at "/usr/local/apache2/lib/". the permission is "rwxr-xr-x".
do i have to set something so that the libray files can be seen by the "httpd" executable? and how?
