I am trying to install mod_auth_mysql-2.20 and some other apache modules from rpm's and am getting these errors:

[root@frideric packages]# rpm -i mod_auth_mysql-2.20-4mk.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
apache-eapi is needed by mod_auth_mysql-2.20-4mk
apache-eapi-devel is needed by mod_auth_mysql-2.20-4mk

I have found websites telling me I need apache-eapi installed to be able to install apache modules, but I have found no help for installing or enabling apache-eapi. I need help.

Hi,

What distro was that ? I couldn't find any rpms anywhere called apache-eapi . Eapi (Apache Extended API) is certainly needed for some addons but I've never seen anyone make a rpm that way....

Regards
