Hi..

first, i´m not an expert on Linux, Apache and Samba, so excuse stupid Questions.

Situation:
We try to realize a secured Webpage on an SUSE Linux 7.1 (7.3) based Apache Webserver.
Also there is an existing large NT4 Domain (no admin right for me).
Therefore we want to use existing NT Domain Accounts to Authenticate.

One question is, auth only works on NT DC´s ?
Most descriptions only about PDC´s.

Problem is, that our PDC dont accept requests from our Linux Server,
so we try to auth on an NT Workstation with global Groups from this Domain.
(think it is smb auth?)

But we dont get it work.. :-((

Anyone some good Descriptions or Solutions for us??
Which Modules do you use? And how they are configured?

Thanks in Advance!

Der erste Link ist vergleichbar mit dem was ich inzwischen gefunden habe,
nennt sich mod_auth_smb und wird auf der gleichen Basis funktionieren.

Das haben wir auch schon zum laufen bekommen.

Danke trotzdem.. :)
