Apache and the network

I have three computers in my house sharing an Internet connection with a router. One of them runs Apache on Windows 98. It runs ok, but I like to be able to drag and drop files into it from my other computer. Before I installed the server, I could do this fine. However, after installing it, I can't. I have tried checking the share permissions on the folders, and they aren't the problem. I think that it's a directive thing. Does anyone know anything about this?
