Couple notes... I resind my statement about its doing the conversion... hello.pl had the html tags in it, and index.pl does not. I ran the wrong script to what I actually was thinking about.
I've looked around, and found another hint:
I still can't figure out why its thinking its thinking its supposed to be using text/x-perl instead of text/html.
