Apache and MS FrontPage Extensions

I was wondering if anyone actually has succeed with getting Microsoft FrontPage Extensions working with Apache Web server in Red Hat Linux?

I've searched over and over again on the net and have tried many times over the last 6 months without and luck at all.

Maybe there is someone out there that has instructions as to how they did this step-by-step?

your server needs to be running the front page extensions for the embedded extensions to work. given that frontpage is M$ and your running it on Linux, i'd give up if i was you

This message comes about two weeks too late. I have indeed run the FP server extensions on Linux (Red Hat and Debian, both) from the 98 version through the new 2002. I use the patch method and it runs well enough for a hosting environment. The reason I say this message is too late is that I had an informal but detailed tutorial of the process on my website until recently (dropped during a redesign). I should have it back up and updated within a couple weeks. It's at

It works fine. (Redhat 6.2, Apache 1.3.19 and Frontpage 2002 extensions). Just follow the info on the Microsoft web.
