I was wondering if anyone actually has succeed with getting Microsoft FrontPage Extensions working with Apache Web server in Red Hat Linux?

I've searched over and over again on the net and have tried many times over the last 6 months without and luck at all.

Maybe there is someone out there that has instructions as to how they did this step-by-step?

Thanks,

Shaun

your server needs to be running the front page extensions for the embedded extensions to work. given that frontpage is M$ and your running it on Linux, i'd give up if i was you

"Enable or disable the FrontPage Server Extensions
If a web is server-based and the server is using the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions, you can extend the functionality of the web by adding page elements such as hit counters, search forms, and confirmation fields. To ensure compatibility with servers that don't use the FrontPage Server Extensions, you can enable or disable commands that rely on the presence of the server extensions on the server. If you disable the server extensions for a web, the related commands will be unavailable (that is, they will appear dimmed) on menus in FrontPage at authoring time" Frontpage help

I use the patch method and it runs well enough for a hosting environment. The reason I say this message is too late is that I had an informal but detailed tutorial of the process on my website until recently (dropped during a redesign). I should have it back up and updated within a couple weeks. It's at
