Hi,

I finally got it working. I used to get the 'save file as' box when running cgi or pl scripts through Apache on Win2k.

Exactly why it works now I dunno! LOL
Maybe someone can explain it...

But this is what I did:

1. Associated .pl and .cgi with the Perl Command Line Int.
2. httpd.conf UNcommented #ScriptInterpreterSource registry
3. Restarted Apache, Got a 500 internal server error.
4. httpd.conf COMMENTED ScriptInterpreterSource registry
5. Restarted Apache

PRESTO!!! ;-)

This might be the wrong way, but it worked.

Let me know what you think. ######## CtN ########

this obviously did the trick:
Associated .pl and .cgi with the Perl Command Line Int

After setting the Association and restarted Apache I still got an error.
Carried on from step 2 and it worked - weird. ######## CtN ########

if i've learnt anything from my years as a software engineer, it would be this: don't ask too many questions! if it works, thank your god, its time to go to the pub :)

Very good advice!! :p ######## CtN ########
