Apache 2 and SSL

Can someone please point me to some simple setup instructions for this. What I find on Apache's website is just explanations of all the options. I just need setup instructions.

I have read that, and see all the different options. But how do I initially set it up? I also see from the modssl website that it is only compatible with Apache 1.3. So maybe I need to install Apache 2 and go back to this version?

In my linux distro, apache2 has ssl support installed with it.

Have you browsed the config files to see if you need to set something to enable it? That's all I had to do with mine. (Of course, installing certificates was a different step.)
