Hi,

Just want to run over the security settings for the Linksys WRT54G

I want to secure this access point without affecting performance too much, so am looking for any advice to achieve this. This is what I have done so far:

I have changed the admin password.
changed the SSID, and disabled broadcast
enabled 64Bit encryption

Is there anything else I can do to lock this down,

BR

You can:

. Use WPA instead of WEP if your clients support it;
. Use MAC filters

I warn you that disabling SSID broadcast is not much of a security step, and often causes connection issues with wireless clients.
