AP ERP 5.5 API / SDK

We needed a relatively simple change to a form that would include a text box that would auto-increment by default.

I didn't realize that AP was 'customizable' until, in discussion with our provider, they offered to make that change to the form.

I've been programming for several years and in several languages -- I am *WAAAAAAAAAY* better with programming than I am with any of this AP stuff.

Strangely, when searching their site, I was unable to find an API or SDK to download or purchase. I want to play with making these sorts of 'customizations'.

Can anybody point me in a direction?

The Accpac SDK is available for purchase from Sage Accpac, but in this case it would be like using a sledge hammer to kill a fly.
The API cannot be purchased - because it is free, included with your installation. The simplest is to record a macro in Accpac and look at the generated code. Accpac uses VBA as a macro language, so if you are familiar with VB6 then it will be easy.
