Recap:

Trying to do Post Recon. on a test system. Live system can't post it either but I'm working on the test system.

Checks weren't cleared correctly. Cleared those with query and then I couldn't post due to a blank GL account. Populated GLAccount and ended with "Error. Description: Journal Detail. Database error (operation=REV-POST, error=0).

TEST: ODBCBCP v3.86.3959
PROD: ODBCBCP v3.85.1132

Replaced test OBDCBCP w/ production. Rebooted.

Same error.

Suggestions? Ideas? Help?!?

Thanks!

History:

How did you create the test system? It should have been with a Dbdump/Dbload.

I *thought* that he just pasted UNCDAT.mdf and UNCSYS.mdf over the files in the data directory.

Would that cause this problem?

Maybe, considering pasting MDF files isn't supposed to be possible. Was it maybe SQL Backup/Restore?

Yes. It must have been.

I saw the file pasted to a local drive and from there he restored it through MS SQL Server Mgmt Studio...

Well, my version of ODBCBCP.DLL is 2000.85.1117.0 on XP SP3, and sqlsrv32.dll is 2000.85.1132.0, and it's running fine. Try a dump/load.

In the meantime, is there a likely suspect for the production machine? A Post Recon. there spits out:

ERROR CODE: -2147467259
Automation error
Unspecified error
