Is there any way to find if a batch entry was deleted before posting, can we retrieve it if indeed it is deleted. Can we find who deleted it. We suspect somebody has deleted a payment entry.

Any help.

You might be able to look at the payment batch control table and look at the audit stamp. APBTA

FWIW, check APBTA is a a long shot, it gets hit when the batch is printed as well as edited.

Yes APBTA table does provide user audit. Which table stores the individual batch entries. APBTA has the batch control entries not individual entries.

APTCR, APTCN, APTCP, APTCRO and APTCC

But when you delete a batch those tables are cleared of the related records.

You had asked if you could find out who deleted it and APBTA's AUDTUSER will have the last user who modified the record which should be the use who deleted the batch since you can't do anything to a batch after that happens.

You could look in BKCHK or BKTRANH for voided check records in case you want to know if the checks were printed. Not sure if that will help.
