AOPEN External CD-R USB Drive USB issue

Hi

I'm running W2K SP4 with all the updates. I recently purchased a AOPEN External CD-R Model# EHB 5232U. When I try to connect to it via USB I get the following error:
The installation failed becuse a function driver was not specified for this device instance.

My USB ports are working with other devices. Has anyone had experience of this and if so is there a solution?
