aol plus satellite

i had aol plus satellite installed a month ago and everything was working.that same day i started to get disconnected after a hour or 2.the more i kept using it the sooner i would lose connection.i also notice the speed was slower and kept slowing down then speeding up. i called aol several times with no luck trying there suggistions.at this point i can only get speed for about 5 minutes then it tells me satellite signal has been interupted and will now be sent through my regular modem.after a couple more minutes it stops responding all together then i get a disconect because of no data stream.most of the time i have to restart the computer because of failed to start filting comport in aol.i tried deleting everything even what was in the registry and reinstalling with no luck.this is the same using windows me and windows xp.i even went out and bought a new modem (us robotics) because aol phone support told me my drivers for my modem were too old and i could not find anything newer. everything is still the same.the only way i was able to write this is to log on using my standard modem.yes everything works fine using my standard modem to sign on instead of the satellite modem. the phone support justs keeps having me do things with my standard modem like there is something wrong there.can anybody help me please. my system is duel boot windows me and xp
intel 600mhz
256mb memory
40 gig harddrive for me
40 gig hard drive for xp
asus p3v4x motherboard
us robotics 56k v92 data/fax modem
