AOL causes problems

i've installed a simple chatroom using phpmychat which works fine for IE and Netscape users. But if anyone is using AOL they can't get into the Chatroom. I know AOL is "unique but popular" technology (older readers might remember Betamax VCRs) but does anyone know why AOL doesn't support this software?

It appears that AOL don't play well with others.
The MyPhpChat project pages at source forge (

have a bug raised against this.

It appears that the AOL users have to minimise AOL and open Internet Explorer or Netscape, and it works fine then. 'Does my thumb look big in this?'

I'm in France and the only way to get cheap unlimited internet is through AOL. I never use the AOL browser cause it sucks! Gary
