Anyway To Tie Workplace Presence Status To Teams Status?

Wondering if anyone has somehow tied your Avaya Workplace Presence status to Teams so that when we have users who use both apps, it shows them on a call in Teams when they're on a call in Avaya Workplace.

If so, how would you do it from a technical perspective?

Use XMPP between presence server and Teams, haven't done it yet as our presence snapin is broken but did read up on it.

I think it's only for premise based MS systems, not Teams. I don't think there's a native XMPP interface on Teams

Read up on these guys. They build the shim. I don't think you can XMPP federate to Teams like you could Skype or Lync
