Is it possible, maybe through 3rd party software, to mail merge between Outlook 2003 and Office 97 compnents (i.e. Word or Excel)?

Anyway to mail merge between different versions of Outlook and Word

Seems to me that Outlook will not care about the version in which the data file was written. So, just initiate your mail merge from Outlook?

Thanks, but when I try this, it states that it has found Word 97, but the version of Word needs to match Outlook.

Sorry...I was thinking only of the data source, not the main doc.
I don't think it will be possible on THIS machine.
Just export your contacts to a CSV or Excel file and merge to that.

Thanks for your help. I'll him know, but being a lazy MD, he wont want to it. Leaving him the option of upgrading the rest of his Office suite. I wonder whether he's cheaper than he is lazy, hmm.......
