Hi - I've got a file server (2000 Server, 400Gb partition) which is filling up rapidly. I'd like to extract a simple list of the sizes of folders and subfolders so that I can see where the worst of the increase is coming from. The only way I've found so far is the dir command with the /a and /s switches but this lists all the files as well which is more info than I need or can easily read (65Mb text file!) Does anyone know of any other way to just get the folder info? Thanks in advance for your help
Cheers
Ed

I use Treesize and it's pretty good.

An alternative is the Folder size service this runs as a service and shows folder sizes in windows explorer, i find that this stops running on a server after a while as i don't think it's designed to run for months on end.

Overall i prefer treesize.

You know what Jack Burton always says at a time like this...

Brilliant. That looks like exactly the sort of thing I was after, many thanks. Ed
