Anyway to disable listening in on a brdg-appr?

We are Definity G3si V11, and have about 5 8400 series phones, with brdg-appr to the same number. When that number is called, the phones all blink at that appearance, until someone answers. Then the appearance light is solid.
If someone accidentally hits that solid appearance button, they would listen in on the conversation. Is there any way to stop that from happening?

Placing an "Exclusion" button on the primary phone as well as enabling Automatic Exclussion on the COS worked for me...

You can prevent the intrusion by putting a "y" in the Data Restriction entry on the second page of the station form.

With that exclusion button. I have that on the primary phone, does that have to be pressed during the conversation?
I tried to set up exclusion through sys parameters, COS table, and exclusion button but it is not working.

If you have Automatic Exclusion setup in the COS table, it will be automatic.

To allow someone to hop onto the call, the Exclusion button can be pressed to allow for that. The carrot |> or <| next to exclusion button would go away.

As manfmmd stated, once I setup Automatic Exclussion in the COS, it worked fine. I also had to update the last page of "change system-parameters features" for that option to be displayed in the COS.

In system features, you can add automatic exclusion by COS. Then you have to add an exclusion button to the phone, which can be up in the menu buttons. Then change the COS and apply it to the stations with bridged appearances.
