SQL Server 2008:
DB Displays 2011-03-31 I want 03/31/2011 as the default display.

Is this some setting at a high-level within the DB? I know SQL Server 2000 displayed dates as I desire by default....

Thanks in advance,

Steve

To output data in desired format back to the client application, you may want to explore CONVERT function formats.

The other alternative is to format date properly in the client application and don't apply any formatting in the SQL query.
