Is there a good guide on stalling PHP on PWS...I have followed the guide using the installer and nothing worked...I then tried using the CGI version and get an error that reads:

The CGI application has had an unexpected error. The headers showns are:

and then nothing....
I am running W98, PWS. I have set the registry to conform to the readme file and added the execute option to a folder called PHP under the in the INETPUB...

Any suggestions or hints to get this darn thing working would be greatly appreciated...

regards,
Bastien

You don't have to have PWS to get PHP working. You could just download Apache for Win32, configure Apache to work with PHP and you are done! It works like a charm.

If you want to try this and have problems getting it to go, let me know and I will provide you with a good httpd.conf file to use.

can i run pws for asp and apache side by side? I do some work in asp and want try more in php? Bastien

I have PWS and Apache installed. I also do a lot of ASP development.

Just make sure that you don't have PWS and Apache running at the same time. This means that when you run Apache, you can utilize PHP and when you run PWS, you have ASP.

If you need to have compatibility for both PHP and ASP together, we have a different issue all together.
