Anyone using Samba (successfully) on AIX?

If so, can you answer what I think are a couple of easy questions? Is there something on the AIX server I need to set so that samba connections die after x amount of inactivity? Users are rebooting there PCs over night but the samba connections from the day before still remain on the AIX server and prevents the users from remapping shares until I manually kill the old/stale samba connections.

Please help, this is driving me nuts and I am about to fork out some $$$ for pc fast connect over it!

What version of Samba? If you're using the latest, look at the "deadtime" parameter in the global section of smb.conf

The default is 0, for no dead timeouts, and if I read the page correctly, the value is in minutes.
