Just curious if anyone is using OFM, I have just been given the responibility of backing up some Windows File Servers and
am not sure whether OFM would be worthwhile. Prior experience
with St Bernard serveral years ago wasn't great.

Any Advice?

TIA

We use it at my place and it's vastly improved over the years.

speak to your vendor and see if you get get one on trial and give it a go.

Why are you thinking of OFM any way are you backing up a db or just a file server where lots of files may be open?

I have tested and implemented... it is working fine here.

However, if you're testing and the test period is over, getting it extended is another story.

Thanks keefb,

Our need for OFM is to back up Exchange pst files on a file server. Some of the pst files can be 1/2 gig.

Thanks for the response.
