Anyone using a switch for EVPL to remote site?

We are in the process of moving to Verizon EVPL for a connection to a remote site.

Verizon is offering EVPL for this connection.

According to Verizon, most people use a router as the endpoint for the EVPL, but if this is a layer 2 connection, I should be able to use a switch also correct?

Sounds like you can connect it to any layer 2 or 3 devices. I have similar with our VPLS links, however, our links have a maximum number of mac addresses allowed over it so I would reccomend using a layer 3 device and setting up any routing needed.
