I'd like to get a system for our company and would like to know some of the experiences with this unit. It is what I am looking for but would like to know any pros and cons, tech suppor availablity and anything that might help me decide.

Thanks

No one is using the polycom system that can share some info?

Hmmm.... Any other good products outhere? I guess polycom is not on the map.

Thanks

Polycom viewstations and Tandberg both work very well and share many of the same features. We have adopted Tandberg as our standard due to greater international presence and support. Tandberg's tech support has been exceptional. They even walked me through several fixes without a maintenance contract. -CL

We have also bought a Polycom. A Viewstation FX. Be careful to read the feature list and decide which model suites you best. Some support more monitors than others. Some support higher speeds. Some even dop multipoint sessions. These units are VERY easy to configure and seem to be compatible with most teleconferencing equipment. Polycom as a company is growing rapidly. They bought Accord Networks, maker of a nioce MCU/bridge. We also own one of them. We have support for the bridge through Polycom and have had an excellent experience with them so far. Good Luck!
