Anyone Used APOS Distribution Server

We have a need to directly send generated reports to a printer. I have heard that the APOS Distribution Server is a good tool for this.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any thoughts?

Yes, we are using the APOS distribution server at NT4 with CE8.0. We use it to send batch reports to network printers. It is quite stable.

And we are going to migrate to CE8.5, which has builtin distribution server. It will let us do the same thing.

cViewMANAGER, my report scheduler, can print reports directly using a schedule. It also supports multiple printers for each report (I.e. send one report to several printers), and a multirun to send different parameter values for a report to different printers. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear

About how much does the apos solution cost?
Personally I think that CE 8.0 should have been patched to fix a feature they new it needed instead of charging $9000 for the upgrade to CE 8.5 to include it.
