Error 50 : A digitial station computer module on bus 8 has been disconnected or powered down.

No one seems to be effected by this error, but the receptionist won’t stop until the error no longer appears on her screen.

Thanks in advance.

If you can find anything wrong, you can remove the alarm messages from her phone.

Also make it that no alarms appear , change the alarm set to a DN not being used.

Nortel sales engineer tells me it a DSM 32+ thats causing the error. Bad phone somewhere. GOing to move some things around and if you care i'll let you know what i find.

If its on a Bcm 4.0, go under administration-alarm settings-
and next to alarm 50 remove the check for telset, this way
you can keep your alarm set working for all the other alarms.

well.... if im thinking clearly.. and your still having the issue.. I think there was a bulletn out there that talked about error 250,251 and even 50 i think... it maybe the power molex connectors that supply power to the back of the modules... there is a kit to fix it
