Anyone seen this error message before?

Hi all,

I have a new Solaris 10 install which I have installed Sybase 11.9.2 on.
I am getting the following error message in my error log.

nopen: t_listen, error 8, I/O error

This error message repeats itself 10 times per millisecond and is filling up the log file. I am running 4 different databases on this server to be and all of them have received this error.

Any ideas?

I don't think ASE 11.9.2 is certified for Solaris 10. Check Sybase web site. ASE 11.9.2 has been defunct for 5 years.

Ya I know. We're in the very painful process of upgrading.
Runs fine on Solaris 9.
