The module is somewhat experimental as the Apache API has changed a few times in the 2.0 branch, but I find that it works splendidly with Apache 2.0.47.

Would you happen to know if it is available with the OCI module?

PHP does not ship with the OCI libraries, as they are proprietary code. The libraries are available from your Oracle installation.
