Anyone knows why this is happening?

I have Pervasive SQL, running Macola 7.5.103 I have have flexability code in the OE file, but when they are in Print Acknowlegments (I have no code there) and starting to type a number in the 'Starting Order No.' it will randomly minimize the whole form. The user then has to click on it again in the taskbar. This is happening on all our clients.

They have the latest Norton AV which is up to date. It's weird it's only happening on this form. Anyone else having this problem?

The only time I've seen something like this happen is when a computer starts to have issues, when you hit the tab key it minimizes the screen you are on. It will do it all of the time until you reboot though.

If the users have a custom screen for the acknowledgement screen, I would try this using the standard Macola screenset.

I assume that the user can still go back to the screen and print the order acknowledgements?

I have also seen the minimizing thing, especially when I have had multiple apps open & do something like open a vpn connection. Rebooting has always fixed my problem. I never checked in task manager to see if I had extra vba connect sessions or macexe.exe or anything like that. Next time I see it, I'll try to research a bit more.

Make sure you are scanning the M: drive with Norton - there are a couple of older viruses that do what you are describing, one in particular was a problem a couple of years ago- Don probably remebers the name of the virus better than me.

Thanks i'll give that a shot. We use Norton w/ the updated virus definitions. It's weird, it happen randomly. I have no code in that screen either.

This is still happening, on all our machines. Some just have Macola open.

Maybe you should try to re-import the macola user screenset for acknowledgements from a fresh install?
