Anyone know of a way to have UM call when email is received?

Running SBS 2008 which has Exchange 2007 SP2. We have UM hooked up to an Altigen phone system.

An application is running that monitors Altigen to call an on call engineer when a phone call is placed to our server down line. I would like to know if there are any options to get an email to trigger a phone call as well.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

That would probably be a question for your "application". The UM feature of Exchange 2007 itself doesn't have that as an option.

But have you tried using Exchange/Outlook rules to send SMS messages?
