Anyone know of a preap workalike?

Hi, all -

Does anyone know of a preap workalike that runs under Linux, specifically RHEL3 or 4, FC4, and/or SuSE 10? For the curious, preap is a tool on the newer Solaris systems to force the reaping of zombied processes without having to reboot.
