I do not use Fireworks often in my work and each time I have to change something, I have to go through the tutorial in the Fireworks software manual before I can do what I need to do. I would like a good class or book to go through so that I can avoid this in the future. Any thoughts?

I have the Fireworks 4 Bible by IDG Press ... it is about 4 inches thick and contains more info than you would ever need in a lifetime. Lots of examples... Pretty straighforward style and easy to understand. Ya' Gotta Love It!

If you are new to Fireworks *Dreamweaver 4 Fireworks 4 Studio Guide* is ok, however if you are looking for thuroughness; give Macromedia DW & FW 4 training from the source a try..(depends on your book style..lots of text/graphics).....

Hi robintasha,

I'm new to these forums, but what a godsend, anyway I have recently obtained traning discs from a company called Centennial Media (in Australia). The training discs for Flash 5, Fireworks 4 and Dreamweaver 4 are fantastic! - especially so, as they are hosted by Greg Rewis - Macromedia's top evangelist! anyway checkem out at
