Anyone know about "Background:menu;"

I came across this while trying to get the mouse over of a <TD> to function Correctly. It was only firing when I moused over the text. Nothing would happen when over the blank area.

Accendently, I came across something in the stylesheet called background:menu;

After I added that it worked fine. Does anyone know where I can find documentation on that. I've searched the net to no avail.

make sureyour mouseover is in the td tag <td onmouseover=&quot;blah&quot;>yakkity</td>
