I've used five different tutorials, but I haven't found one that made my Photoshop image come out half as good as my PSP ones. I'm about ready to scrap the entire program... does anyone have any good tutorials that I might use? thanks!

Hi,

The easier way to do this if the line art has color in it is to goto hue/saturation (Ctrl+U) and adjust the Hue slider to get the desired color.

But if it is strictly black and white then do this:

Open your image, select all, edit > cut, press "Q" to get into quick mask mode, edit > paste, press "Q" again to exit quick mask, then invert the selection marquee (Ctrl+Shift+I), then select your color on the tools palette and goto edit > fill and choose foreground color from the dropdown and set the opacity to 100 and the mode to normal and then de-select (Ctrl+D) and then you can add a new layer, fill it with white and move it below the colored lines, then merge if you want to.

Hope this helps!

Nate
