Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone had installed the named pipe hijacking fix from Microsoft (above is the bulletin number). I installed last night, but all clients that connect via ODBC are no longer able to and have had to change to TCP/IP. Strange thing is I can still connect using the normal client software. My SQL driver is 2000.81.9031 and the others are lower. Thought that might be the prob, but upgraded someone elses to the same driver and still no joy - usual 01000 & 08001 connection error of named pipes and server does not exist / access denied.
Any ideas welcomed.
Cheers,
Mutley
