Hi
I'm starting to think about getting a new computer.
I do this every 3 years and I use it for business so it is a write off.
I used to buy Gateways and then switched to Dell for the last 2 computers.
My current computer is a Dell XPS desktop with high end video card ram etc.
I haven't been all that happy with it though it works ok.
It crashed the first time I booted it up and I spent 7 hours on the phone talking to people in India to get it up and running. I had to hand enter all the disk setup information to completely redo the boot sector. This didn't leave me with a good feeling.
I have been pricing a computer from Falcon Northwest and the price isn't that much different from dell when you get into the performance computers. I'm talking about the Talon, not the Mark V.
I wondered if anyone here has any real world experience dealing with Falcon Northwest.
Dells service which used to be great has sunken to the level that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.
I was thinking that Falcon being a fairly small company may actually have people who are in the US and speak English in there service department.
Anyone have any input?
This is the setup on the FC computer that I am considering.

While I have been a computer nerd for years I'm not a hardware guru and I don't want to build my own computer because I'm absolutely sure that when I tried to boot it up nothing would happen.
I'm looking for something that will have good gaming performance but be stable since it is also the computer I use for my Graphic Design business.
