Anyone have any experince with Fedora? 1

Hey All,

I'm trying to make a dirver for my Qlogic HBA and I'm getting all sorts of crazy error when I run the make file. Do any of you folks have any experince with fedora? Is there a problem with the compiler? TIA!

I doubt there is a problem with the compiler. What kernel version is the driver for? What version of the kernel is installed? Do you have the kernel-devel package installed?

Well you don't mention what compiler you are using, but I'm guessing its GCC ...

In any case, I've used GCC extensively on FC1 and FC4, both versions 3.2* and 4.0 (of GCC), and I've never encountered a problem with it.
