Anyone has experience with ARCserve backup for laptops and desktops

Anyone has experience with this backup solution for laptops? I googled the web and couldn't find too much reference/review on it. I looked at the documentation of the product and it seems to me that CA just copy the information from their Desktop Server Management Suite software into the documenatation without realizing that this is a stand-alone product (Some terms do not apply to the software).

Also, is there any other laptop backup solution with central management ability that people can recommend?
