Ris becomes WDS which is something to consider.

If you run e-Policy Orchestrator then SP2 will break it. Supposedly you can upgrade to 3.6.1 and it will then be OK on SP2, and that seemed to work in our test environment.

I can't install the R2 DFS and PrintManagement tools to my Sp2 server anymore, it only states "wrong version"

Tricky100 if you apply SP2 to a functioning RIS server is it upgraded to WDS?

If so will all of the settings be moved accross and the server continue to function?

Yes mate, happened to me. Kinda functions, you have to do a bit of work on it, convert images etc.

my mcafee eorch was ok but i was already 3.6.1
had one server that ran veritas media server 10 but not on sp3 and that had some funny errors but as soon as apply veritas updates - ok
